This first printing of William S. Burroughs's novel "Nova Express" is complete with its original dust jacket. The text is bound by orange cloth covered boards with the title and author's name emblazoned in black letters on the spine.
The back flap of the dust jacket describes this work as such: "Burroughs has again created a masterpiece of fantasy and reality, a carnival of horrors, a doomsday confrontation of man and his world. If 'Naked Lunch' represented, as its author suggests, 'a frozen moment when everyone sees what is on the end of every fork,' the motto of the present book may be taken from the phrase: 'Show your cards all players.' And, as in 'Naked Lunch,' the seriousness and moral purpose of the author are partially cloaked and partially illuminated by the riotous Burroughs humor. The common language and images of the modern world are brought back to us in unexpected guises, horrible and funny."
